Stockton Springs, Maine is a town in Waldo County.  The Town is located between Belfast and Bucksport on Coastal US 1.  The population was 1,591 at the 2010 census. Stockton Springs is home to Fort Point State Park and Fort Point Light, both located on Fort Point, a peninsula on Cape Jellison. [1]

To me Sandy Point Beach is a great place to stop and have some lunch and enjoy this quite tucked out of the way beach, with great views!
